Since 2008, The Kooples has drawn inspiration from the world of rock. Today, the brand is reviving the aesthetic of its early days with the unveiling of an exclusive capsule in tribute to the legendary 60s rock band The Doors.

This capsule is an obvious choice: Jim Morrison, a timeless icon, is an eternal source of inspiration for The Kooples. To mark the 60th anniversary of the band's formation, and as Paris prepares to inaugurate a footbridge in his honour, the brand is celebrating his legacy with four screen-printed t-shirts, modern reissues of the band's vintage merchandising.

Each piece reflects the mystical aura of Jim Morrison and The Doors through cult visuals: the poster for the legendary 1968 Hollywood Bowl live show, the cover of the legendary song ‘Love Me Two Times’, an iconic photo of Jim Morrison on stage, and references to the album L.A. Woman.
