The responsibilities of Keyholderinclude but are not limited to:

Sales Management:

  • Meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Exceptionally sales and results driven
  • Being a team leader, acting as an ambassador of The Kooples, driving business and being an overall presence on the selling floor
  • Ensure client services meets and exceed expectations, always willing to go the extra mile in order to provide superior customer service
  • Ensure that the sales floor is supervised and staffing levels reflect business patterns
  • Execution of daily, weekly and monthly store operations and floor management

People Development:

  • Management and development of the sales team
  • Train and encourage the team to build customer loyalty and retention via impeccable customer service and follow up
  • Create an on-brand environment through communication, motivation and participation
  • Ability to present and introduce innovative ideas to drive business, utilizing any and all tools provided
  • Creating and coaching sales teams to become Brand Ambassadors representing The Kooples
  • Ensure uniform and grooming guidelines are followed at all times

Merchandising & Visual:

  • Responsible for all visual merchandising via the guidelines given by the head office
  • Stock management in stores (deliveries, transfers, etc.) with proactive follow up for replenishment requests



  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • At least three years of retail key-holder experience in a qualifying contemporary or luxury environment
  • Passion for retail and fashion
  • Ability to supervise, manage and develop a strong sales team
  • Dynamic with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and enhancement of products
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills with a proactive approach and a strong sense of analysis and decision making
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Mandarin speaking preferred
